Episode Summary:

Growing up, I often took the approach of don’t expect the good to happen, because that way if it doesn’t, you won’t be disappointed. But that model came crashing down when I left corporate and landed in entrepreneurship. As a business owner, you ALMOST ALWAYS are not meeting your goals because… Big goals = Big action. And big goals get you MUCH further than small goals that keep you stuck in the mediocre.

In this episode, I’m sharing why business is really a series of “micro-failures,” and why that’s NOT a bad thing. I also dive into my process for how I help my clients face their fears, make a plan for the real ones, and release the rest — so they can step into their next level of income and success.

Because fear might feel like control, but really it just keeps us stuck and small. And I’m not letting you stay in fear anymore.

Topics:

  • The “don’t expect good” model I carried from childhood into business

  • Why big goals are better than small ones (even if you miss them)

  • Micro-failures in entrepreneurship and how to use them as data

  • How fear disguises itself as control (and how to spot it)

  • My process for helping clients face, plan for, or release their fears
